OUR MICROGARDEN
WE ♡ LOCAL
Monte Lake Microgardens is a locally owned and operated mini farm located 32 kilometers east of Kamloops. Our small but mighty garden produces a wide variety of microgreens, gourmet mushrooms, garlic, sprouts, garden florals, herbs, and bedding plants.
On top of high-quality produce and flowers, you can find farm-fresh eggs, baked goods, artisan gifts, dried herbs and spice blends, and dehydrated products. What we don't grow ourselves, we source from regional growers - everything we sell is local, fresh, and sustainable.
We're always working with our fellow community growers & artisans to find new products to share with our customers - stop by our on-site farm stand, travelling farm truck, or say hello at one of the many regional markets we'll be visiting this season!

AVAILABILITY CHANGES SEASONALLY
microgreens
Our microgreens are locally grown in our on-site greenhouse. We grow pea shoots, sunflower, Swiss chard, broccoli, kale, alfalfa, arugula, and parsley in micro-proportions to pack the most nutrition and flavour into the tiniest plants. We offer a variety of container sizes and mixes for every palate.
MUSHROOMS
Our on-site mushroom house features lion's mane, pink oyster, cremini, and shiitake mushrooms. We individually harvest our mushrooms at the peak of their freshness to provide a farm-to-table experience direct from the Okanagan.
FRESH HERBS
In our outdoor garden, we're busy growing a vibrant mix of parsley, basil, oregano, dill, chives, and rosemary. We focus on procuring the highest quality BC seeds that compliment our microgreens, so you can enjoy them in a mix or by themselves!
DRied herbs & spice blends
Our spice blends add more than a dash of flavour - they celebrate our commitment to low-waste and sustainability. We make the most of each season's bounty by using overflow from our herb garden to bring you both classic and unexpected herb & spice blends and dried herbs.
Baked goods
Fresh from our ovens, we offer baked bread, muffins, cookies. We also make power bars that use the goodness of our garden to increase nutritional benefits!
EDIBLE FLOWERS & BEDDING PLANTS
Our outdoor gardens bloom with colour, gifting us beautiful edible blossoms like calendula, daisies, marigolds, lavender, chamomile, bergamot, and pink dandelion. Our bedding plants will make a welcome addition to your garden, and are tended to with care until the moment they leave our greenhouse.
GARLIC
Our garlic packs a punch! Grown in our outdoor garlic patch and picked at its peak, it's the perfect way to add some flavour to whatever you're cooking (maybe a microgreen salad?) We harvest Chesnuk Red and Red Russian varieties.
FARM FRESH EGGS
Our beloved chickens are superstars! We have a small flock of hens that work hard to lay eggs for us and our farm stand. Our eggs go fast, so be sure to pick up a carton when you see us! You can even keep up with our hens by subscribing to our newsletter here.
